Need help finding a ball for my kids to throw against interior walls

We don't throw balls in the house usually, but if we do, it's in the family room where there isn't anything we can really break. It's just a small nerf ball with no rubber. BUT, my daughter and I have epic nerf crossbow fights pretty much anywhere around the house. Reminds me, I need to get more ammo!

Looking for a solution that enforces itself instead of just asserting your iron will over all in your path, pfft. This is what's wrong with America these days, all these pansy-ass generation Yers and their commie ideas. :colbert:

Get them a trick exploding ball. The first time they throw it, "see, that's why you don't throw balls in the house."

If it were me, I'd tell the little blisters they can't throw balls in the house. I was allowed to play around in the house as a kid of course, but I can't picture my parents having been ok with throwing balls around inside (I remember having Nerf fights with my dad and brother though).

But I'd say some sort of Nerf ball would work if that's what you're looking for, OP.

Mom always said don't play ball in the house...

The only time I remember throwing balls in the house is when we played our version of the "grand prize game" from the Bozo show.

Here is something fun to try. Sit in a room with a ceiling fan, turn it on full blast and throw a wadded up piece of paper at the fan. Whoever it hits must take a drink. They will sleep like rocks 😛

This. I am confused by this attitude. "Rather than set rules and make sure my children abide by them, I am going to cave and find a way they can ignore the rules!"

Heh, no kidding, but I don't think you are allowed to implement rules anymore, or someone will call CPS on you.

Wow, what a bunch of loser parents in this thread. Don't listen to 'em OP, just get your kids a good nerf or other foam/plastic type ball and let em have fun. Obviously there are certain rooms they shouldn't and won't play in, once that rule is established let 'em be active and have fun! I played basketball, soccer, football, even volleyball all in the house as a kid and had a blast, and my parents certainly didn't mind, they encouraged it!
