When you can take a pic of your BIOS screens

It should be memory timings and memory clock speed.

Great... anyone know the exact number to call?

If you choose to activate by phone, it will ask you to put in your region and then give you a number. I've never had them turn me down for a reactivation, but I've also heard that they've tightened up recently.

If you get really stuck with it, send me a PM and we'll work something out.

Spoke to Microsoft today, they gladly transferred my product key.

I will switch to 1600 right away. I really need to understand this stuff. I dont really know what this is doing.

In the screen shot you were at 777 what you want is 800 (800x2 is 1600Mhz) DONT try and set it to 1600 (1600x2 is 3200Mhz!)

Yeah I think thats what caused Windows just now to think there was an error. I put it back to auto.

But other than that, I dont see any other problems. The test went fine.

Yeah, it really depends on the BIOS. Some will show the raw clock and some will show the doubled the frequency. Kind of confusing.

Hmmm.. I'm gonna need a Flash memory reader for my front panel. The old one's molded for the previous case. I'd have no faceplate. These can't go for very much money and it can't really matter who makes it, right?
