Hello all. Let me thank you in advance for your help. I recently purchased an Abit BE6-II MB, a celeron II 566, a GeForce 2, and a golden orb cooler. I am new to the overclocking world. My system runs fine when not overclocked. I purchased this processor because of the high success rate of hitting 850. I have the latest bios. When I bump it to the 100 Mhz bus to get 850 it will post and run for about 15 seconds. Just long enough to get into windows. Then it freezes. The chip is about a week old. Do I need to burn it in? Is it just a bad chip? I have some heatsink grease and non-overclocked it is running about 32ºC. Thanks for suggestions.
