I think you should take his advice--if people giving their opinion bothers you, then get over it.

Quite frankly there's a big difference between "I want a sound system that I can do well in a competition with" and "I want the whole city to know when I'm coming home from work."

i don't have a problem with opinions, just loud mouthed "elite (which as far as i'm concerned means trash) members" who aren't representing the forum very well.

if you don't like loud car stereos fine, say "i don't like car stereos that are too loud". using every four letter word you can think up is tacky and immature. the fact that he hasn't been banned yet is kinda discouraging, but then i've noticed the "trash, errrr, elite" tag gets you into the "cool club" around here.

oh yeah, thanks for the link to those JL subs (whoever that was), i need SQ, not SPL for my car. i don't care who can hear it, i want it to sound good.

You do realize that since youre sitting in the car, you cant quite hear the low low loooooow bass that everyone down the block hears, cause of the wavelength right?

Youre never ever going to have the kind of bass you want INSIDE your car, unless you install vibrators under the seat.

If you just want everyone to hear you coming, you'd be surprised how much better they can hear your bass than you can.

I have been pulled over; nothing happened. You know that they have remotes right. and i also have a kill switch under my seat so if the cops says anything ill show him no juice is going to the amps. Its very well hidden no cop can or will find it.

fosgate amps are nice.........also, i've heard the sony explode amps aren't bad......but i don't really know....i have a bostwick which works ok i guess, but then again i only have two 10"s

i was thinking about the 'RF bd1000's and powering up my 15"s, but i'm using a four channel amp bridged out now. Still undecided on the subs. Probably going to goto local car audio shop for suggestions/prices.

if you want TIGHT, try getting somethign like 2 IDMax' or 2 12w7's or 2 Eclipse subs w/700++ watts each in a sealed enclosure >>
