Ok, I concede. You are right Russ. It IS a company to company policy on what they reveal. I just read the information on http://employment-law.freeadvice.com/hiring/ and it confirms what you and a few others said. My error was beleiving that it was law when my last manager told me that he wasn't allowed to comment on the worker's perfomance after he fired him it was law, instead of store policy. Damn, I hate being wrong too...
By the way. There is a ton of good information as far as what your legal rights are before you are fired/hired and what you can do in certain situations. While I make to their accuracy, I think they seem to be fairly on the mark in the diffrent situations. Good luck.
