Thanks!

Why?! What else should I do? Strap the Celica to my back and walk there... or load it as airplane cargo? Come on, I don't have very many choices here. And I don't want to drive it, because the tires are balding and I don't think it's going to last much longer.... plus I don't want to over heat my car and kill the mileage! You must not LOVE your car.

Okay maybe you guys misunderstood me. I don't want a rental truck like 14' rental truck. I want like a Chevy Suburban or Dodge Ram or some SUV that has towing capacty, that is all. Thank you Caveman for the quote, but that is not going to help me. I asked WHERE should I get a truck, not WHY or WHY NOT I should drive/tow. Thanks for all your wisdom though.

Sorry, but I can't help you, because I think your idea is stupid. Just being honest.

MAYBE SOME OF YOU SHOULD BE ACCOUNTANTS OR PERSONAL FINANCIAL ASSISTANTS FOR SOMEONE WHO NEEDS ONE. IF YOU DON'T HAVE ANY HELP THEN PLEASE JUST GO AWAY.

I can hardly wait for the "I spent all my money renting a truck and now my Celica needs new tires, what can I do"? thread.

Well if you can't help, why don't you just shut up and move on. No one asked what you thought. And if I may be honest, you are stupid for telling me that you can't help. Maybe you just want another tick on your count so you can become a double lifer. Great aspiration there.
Did you actually check the site I gave you, or are you just here to run your mouth?Originally posted by: crantang

Oh how about the "Wow am I so impressed with your insults" thread?

I don't expect anyone to pull numbers out of their pockets or anything. There are a lot of people on this board, and I was hoping that I could get advice about renting... mainly who to rent from, who to stay away from, who offers the best rates... and so forth. Everyone on here just seems to have the "I'm cooler than you and know smarter than you look at me attitude."

I love people like you. You have a high post count, so I feel threatened. It is the only thing I can think of to attack you with. Like N8 said, go cop your attitude somewhere else. Your idea is stupid. Did you expect people were going to do the work for you, while patting you on the back saying "Good idea champ?" 800 miles is not going to hurt you car, but you are the prototypical ignorant ass, that wants help but has too much of an attitude when people try to convince them what they are doing is foolish.
