Need a list of legitimate sites that use BitTorrent

As you all know BitTorrent is becoming more and more popular and is not just used to download illegal files anymore. It's needed just to download programs and legal files from a lot of sites.

What I am trying to do is complile a list of legitimate sites that use BitTorrent. If you know of a site that is legitimate (by legitimate I mean not set up to download illegal music or files but rather to distrube free-liscense software and such) could you please post it so I can add that list to my petition.

edit: its live music, i cant check up on all the bands there, but many (if not all) allow for an open taping/trading policy so fans can trade all the live music for free without any hassle.
 
Or perhaps you can get a client like Azureus and set it to a completely different port number, one your school doesn't block, and use bit torrent to your hearts content?
 
No way you can convince youe school that it will be used for leagal activities. So deal with it....

Exactly what I was gonna post. The fact that you have to ask for legal sites implies that you know of very few/none and want BT unrestricted so you can go back to downloading whatever it is you normally download.

How much do you want to bet? I don't care if we are the first school to ever allow it I'll be happy to set the precedent. Humboldt State University students suck at a lot of things but one thing they are pretty good at is protesting and getting all riled up about censorship 😉
