Alright. I'll have to ask my supervisor tomorrow. I get a 30% or up to 30% I should say discount with Dell so I wonder what percentage off bracket I'll fall into with that. I wonder how it'll compare to that price, if less then... well it's obvious lol, go with what saves more.

Is that the only recommendation, ASUS. No good monitors for non IPS panels other than that? Some of the LG ones on newegg look nice, and I was considering the HP one as well.

there are nice ones but the asus is on sale

Now these "cheap"; in price not necessarily quality that they'll break in a week or two, monitors being TN panels, will an LED backlighting system do much or is it overkill and moot on TV panel?.

I know they'll be a benefit perhaps of power savings, but I'm just wondering about Image Quality.

I've never looked at LED backlighting on TN based computer screens. With TV screens and such I have much experience, and graphics professional monitors as well.

LED backlighting doesnt really change the pic quality IMHO but it makes it slimmer and use less power.

Yeah, it is more of an artificial image enhancement.

As long as it somehow doesn't make anything worse, guess there's no harm. And I guess it's not a bad idea to save a few watts on power lol.

Are people so gullible on this forum to fall for the obvious trollbait that backpedals? lol
