Guys, I got it, you don't care about rights that carry risk to society unless it advances your partisan agenda.

No, it is that we are working on the issues you stated.

I am not really sure why you think 'Here are bad things that still happen, therefore there is no point in trying to stop other bad things' is a good argument. Or why you think that 'we are working on fixing all the bad things' should be answered with 'Well, I guess you just don't care about bad things'. It really makes you look rather dumb.

Nearly a year ago today, a troll awoke from his slumber and endlessly started shitposting some nonsense that 2nd-hand smoking is more alarming than some perceived amendment that protects the notion of sociopaths running around with arsenals of murder toys randomly gunning down people.

Edit: Holy shit! The OP is actually about smoking again! You've got to be kidding me...eh or not. Imbeciles will forever imbecile. The OP is their king.

When looking at individual rights and the potential risk they carry to society, it isn't outlandish to compare. You guys don't care about saving lives, you care about moving your partisan agenda forward.

Thought I was losing my mind. Like someone deleted my posts. Guess what? There's another thread out there. I suggest merging as both have gotten past 2 pages.

You've been shown that this claim is bull shit over and over, but you keep coming back to it. The vast majority on the left is concerned about air quality in addition to gun violence. The fact that you aren't concerned about either one proves nothing other than that you are not concerned about the rights of the abused, only the rights of the abusers. Individual rights must always be weighed against the individual rights of others. I don't support a total ban on guns. However, considering that we have the loosest gun regulations in the developed world coupled with the highest rates of gun violence in the developed world hardly supports the claim that we have achieved the appropriate balance between an individuals right to own a firearm and another individuals right to safety from firearms.

LOL poor man's troll has sullied back to the sock drawer... keep smoking people it keeps me employed and I still have guns, too. Best of both stupid worlds.. Bring back Speedy and LegendKiller... this fucktard is a cheap suit version of a basement troll...

No, it is not outlandish to compare them, but as has been repeatedly pointed out we are concerned with those things and as a society we have been steadily making progress on them, all while we go the other direction on gun control. Why would you think that we don't care about them when almost all of us point out repeatedly all the things we support to curb those issues?

How many posts here on tobacco deaths? How many about gun deaths? If you cared about saving lives it would stand to reason you'd discuss tobacco, which kills something like ~15x as many people in a given year than all firearms deaths (accidents, suicides, police shootings, homicides combined), but the leftist media doesn't glamorize and have a story about everyone that dies due to tobacco the way they do guns... they really have you under their control. It isn't brought up on liberal forums because you don't care about saving lives, the Dems in charge haven't directed you to care about that, you only care about limiting gun rights because the Republicans are pro-2A. It is a partisan agenda, nothing more. I'm sure glad to have a president that will put in SC judges that will help protect our constitutional rights. Hopefully Ginsberg retires soon.

You'll probably get some likes, the same handful of people will tell you how right you are, but one thing is for certain, you won't have anything of substance to counter with.

The only way to "lose" an argument with you is to engage your nonsense exercises in fallacy in the first place. This is abundantly clear and everyone knows it.
