Bama's players are as big or strong as anybody ND has played, but are faster. That's why ND can't tackle for shit. It's what separates a top tier sec team from a crap a ND or a Big 10 team.

Jeez I was hoping ND would put up a game since I can't stand Alabama or Nick Sabain but oh well.

Notre Dame is just confirming the widespread criticism that they have absolutely no business being in the Championship game. I'm glad CFB is going to a playoff system; Oregon/Alabama would have been a much better game than this (even if Alabama would've ended up rolling).

At least 3 times they've gone to the girlfriend.

I predict the second half they show her more than they show ND offensive plays.

28-0 and 31 seconds before half. Yike.

Can we start chanting "SEC, SEC...SEC" now? :D

Is this for real? What a joke. Even a playoff wouldn't solve this. I was really hoping for a decent game but instead I'll be changing the channel in about 21 seconds.

I'm curious how Texas A&M would fare. Would lose to Alabama, but would also make it at least a game. Oregon would be fun, but not enough defense to win in the end - would take a few TOs.

Well to be fair, A&M did beat Bama at Bama. Would they beat them again? Who knows but I'd love to find out.

Did the coach just insinuate that the way they could compete was if Alabama didn't come back?

I'm leaning towards that being literal ;)

That was one of the more humble halftime interviews I've heard from a coach.
