As pointed out by sactoking, our legal system worked fine.
It's one the best things about the United States, btw. The whole notion of us being overly litigious is a myth foisted upon us by corporations and their lackeys.
Imagine if all the crack heads sued their local crack supplier... LMAO
Not sure how it is in other countries but here in United States every legal citizen (illegal citizens probably too) have the right to sue. Doesn't mean the judge won't throw the lawsuit out of court or that you will win if it does go to court, but you do have the right to sue. As it should be in my humble opinion.
Personally I don't think this guy has a chance of winning but maybe he's hoping for an out of court settlement? Lot of companies will pay off someone like that simply because its cheaper than hiring their lawyers to deal with them in court whether the claimant is right or not. Then again maybe NCsoft will want to prove in court its not their fault and show the world they are not in the wrong.
i'd say there's no way in hell ncsoft will settle with this guy. if he's truly only going after them for deceptive business practices... there's no way they can just roll over on that and essentially agree with him.
MMO's are as much about the gameplay as they are about the customer's opinion of the company.
