Except there is no NCAA regulation against having sex with non-student-athlete little boys.

Sandusky did not violate any NCAA rules, and Joe Paterno didn't violate any by not reporting Sandusky to the NCAA.
The NCAA is arbitrarily jumping on Sandusky and JoePa. If Sandusky's crime was driving 1MPH over the limit, and JoePa knew about it and didn't report it to the cops, would his wins still be vacated and Penn State hit with a $60 million fine?

The NCAA is just being a self-righteous prick.

How could you possibly use your 1mph over the speed limit crime example, in defense of Sandusky who has committed child rape for over a dozen years, probably many more, and they was covered up on several levels by Penn State?

Also see the multitude of comments above, and in other threads, related to "lack of institutional control".

WTF DOES 1MPH SPEEDING HAVE TO DO WITH CHILD RAPE YOU DUMBASS!

And the award for "I wish I could take back that statement" goes to...

"It was - to me - it was our 9/11 today. I just saw planes crashing into towers."

hehehe

But, to get right down to it, people like that do need to be punished. They are reinforcing the fact that the competitiveness of their chosen team is more important to them than the futures of the boys who were raped. That is the only thing the "Penn State faithful" lose, the competitiveness of their team.

On a personal note, hi, I am a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan, my team has not been competitive since 75 years before I was even born. There are far, far more important things in life than the competitiveness of my team.
