NCAA March Madness to expand to 96 teams

Are there any records of the most correct picks anyone's ever gotten on their bracket? Out of 63 picks the most can't be more than 55-56?

Even though my Hokies just barely missed out, I'm still against this. It's gonna make the NIT into absolute shit! :awe:

Yeah, I think the top 32 teams will get first round byes.

I'm completely against this, but I have a feeling that it will all work out well for the NCAA.

If they don't change structure of the bracket it would happen.
...the structure of the bracket HAS to be changed with 96 teams. If it's not an exponential of two, you have to have byes.

Btw, doesn't this really hurt the Big East teams? They already play more games in their own conference tournament (combined) than other conferences.

Instead of one play in game we would have 32 play in games. lol

The some of the worst teams in the country. Yeah, real good idea there.

Next up Mississippi Mountain Valley from the Mississippi Valley Conference versus Rhode Island Square Academy from the Square Conference!

Only the lowest eight seeds in the Big East play more games than anyone else. They usually don't make the tournament, but hey, half of them probably will now.

Besides, the Big East and Big Ten already play more (18 vs 16) conference games than most everybody else. Clearly it isn't bothering them.

Yeah, I've been hearing about this for a while and it's a stupid idea. I'm going to have to start printing my bracket on legal. 🙁

No reason to ever watch regular season ball then. Unless you want to see if someone can get their record up to .350 to make the tournament.
