Because I've lived in far shittier conditions then the average American, and done far shittier things as well. I've also seen how bad things can be in the third world. My 700 sq foot apartment would be a castle for some people.

So you don't get to see my tiny room(and it is quite small actually... I can't fit my dresser, computer, and bed in there... I have to take out one of the three). The living room is small, unfortunately... It has a fireplace with is gas, I hate fake fireplaces.(Typically) There are WIRES EVERYWHERE in the living room, you just cannot see them. (Again camera) The house requires a lot of work and my parents know this. Oh, and I really hate the colour of the "granite" countertops. (It's also not smooth... It seems like tile for the floor kind of granite... Because it has spacing every 1sqft, I think) Ranting... We are going to paint everyroom. I didn't have a very good memory about the house, but everytime I go it is seeming "better." (Maybe I am just lowering my standards/not letting the unhappiness flow) Uh, the house also has this "security system." It isn't well done. Also my parents don't give a shit about it, and neither do I. (My father said this, "We're not going to pay [a lot] for a security system every month. We have guns.") There is a lot of very, bad stuff about the house we will have to fix, but it could look great when we get done. (It's more about our financial trouble than us working on it all... We don't have money, at all...) I just hate the cabinets to death, god the style is horrible...

Here we go! (Oh and because this is ninja-photoshooting with a shitty camera, you have to deal with terrible quality, I cannot do anything about the blurring... When I push the button down, it just blurs... it's really small camera)

Oh and the carpet has TONS of stains. Especially upstairs... Whatever, we got steam cleaner and stuff to help. (My parents want to replace the carpet anyway, I think? It is a terrible colour, and looks/feels terrible.)

Are you kidding? That house looks great. Stop trolling and be grateful you have a damn roof over your head.

I was never spoiled; I was promised a house of equal comfort, instead I get to live in a shithole for months longer than planned and then, don't even get a house of equality.

Yes, "promised a house of equal comfort" means you are a spoiled brat.

Exactly. Unless the OP's ass is paying the bill, he has no right to complain about shit.

Don't like it? Fix it or move the fuck out.

You call that a terrible, unlivable house? Aside from the lousy looking lawn, that place doesn't look half bad.

Let's see, you don't like the style of the cabinets, you don't like the color of the granite countertops (that kitchen is a damn bit more elaborate than anything I've used), you don't like a "fake" fireplace.....like a rich man complaining that his caviar is the wrong shade of whatever color it is, and regardless of how it tastes, has it discarded so that he can have "proper" caviar.
And is that a vent I see in the kitchen floor? It's even got central air of some sort? That's ritzier than I grew up with.

What's that out back? A pool, or a hot tub?

I don't think you ever did give me measurements of that "tiny" room of yours.

Yeah, you're spoiled. Just wait until you have to get an apartment on your own, at whatever you can afford. Well, assuming mommy and daddy don't pay your rent of course.

Why let's see, the bathroom faucet here drips, there's very poor insulation in the walls, if anything at all, most of the outlets are two-prong and ungrounded, half of the windows are older than I am, and possibly older than my parents too, the paint in the bathroom is peeling here and there, and so on.

You'd probably shit yourself in fear at the sight of a *gasp* poor residence. The good news is, I have some razor blades around so you could off yourself to stem the wave of anguish that would likely overcome you. Conveniently, there's even a dumpster not 50 feet from my door.

Beggars can't be choosers. Poor baby. Maybe, if your parents didn't have to pay for your college tuition, board, food, etc they'd have more money to buy a nicer house or renovate it.

Yes, a 3 bedroom house. Hardly spoiled... Considering the thing was like $125k. It's not like I live in a fucking mansion.

You are a spoiled brat, and act like a dick because of it. When I was a child I lived wherever the fuck my mom moved and I never even thought about saying a word about it.

You should get your ass beat for even bringing up the cost of your new house.

I agree. I had to share a bedroom with my brother. I never had any privacy. Good thing was that it forced me to want to be out of the house - be social, play sports, etc. Something that would benefit the OP greatly.

I used to be somewhat like you, although nowhere near as bad. We moved out of a 5 bedroom house where I had a 20x16 bedroom. We moved into a 3 bedroom house where I had a 12x12 bedroom and I thought it was the worst thing ever at first. After a getting moved in, I realized it wasn't as bad as I thought. I was still somewhat spoiled-minded though.

THEN I moved into a dorm.... You'll be grateful for any kind of house after living in a dorm.

WTF? I go to a COMMUNITY COLLEGE... You realize how cheap that is, don't you? Free if you get federal aid, and unfortunately we never got it because my parents didn't tell me the college I was going to until it was way-way-way-way too late. I had done FAFSA for Portland Community College, but then I found out way too late that I am going to be going to school in Vancouver(Because apparently going to PCC is just five miles too far)... Great. I had even received letters in the mail telling me I was approved for those schools, so lame. >_<

Yet your parents pay for it b/c you're too much of a mooch to get a job and pay for it yourself. At worse, you should be paying them rent.

I'm guessing you spent zero time applying for scholarships?

Yes, it's really lame that you couldn't figure out your own future and your parents had to tell you.

You find me a place I can move into, ok? It's not like we have houses we can rent for $400 a month, like some posters on ATOT.

I can't even open the doors all the way, I live with 5 other people, and the hot water heater went out today. Stop complaining, you whiney-ass bitch.

Haha, for about 4 months before joining the Army I literally lived in a closet in my mom's apartment. It was big enough for a single mattress on the floor, and a 2x2 "desk" which I put my monitor on top of and 3 computers underneath. Everything else I owned either got pitched or thrown in storage.

So fix the damn water heater. I live with 4 other people, and three dogs. I truly do not enjoy the company of my "room mates." At least you have some kind of independence.

It's not mine and I have no idea where it is. I put in a workorder today. Did I mention that it costs $3200 a semester? How much do you pay for food?

Then move the fuck out and stop being a whiny little bitch. You claim your 18, but you act like your 12.
