decent?

I'm still waiting for a reality show with a single shred of decency.

I like it, but mainly b/c the idea of running a restaurant intrigues me and this gives some insight into the process.

I'll say this, it takes guts to open up a restaurant.

This one seem to be a tad bit less scripted and more REAL.

I like primarily because i've worked in one....this time i get to laugh at idiots instead of trying to keep it in while busing tables

I cannot watch this show anymore. One of the waiters was complaining hard that he only got a $40 tip from one table (about 10% of the meal). They seem to be more interested in wannabe acting / getting on camera and less so about serving people. I would not want to be eating at this restaurant as the waitstaff seem overly dramatic. Plus, if they get pissed at low tips, imagine what they will do in to your food! yikes!

i think he said his total take for the day was 60? and the 40 dollar table sat there the whole night. he was there since morning. so per hour he got paid squat. many restaurants don't have hourly wages i think.

ugh, thats what you'd say to a person stuck at a job for months or years that complains about their pay. the guy was on his first day for f*ck sake, and its not a set wage either, its one based on many factors.
