Man this game sucks so far. I was watching the game marathon on ESPN classic, and the game was so much cleaner in the late 80's and early 90's. There are too many turnovers and everyone looks sloppy.

Yes, because they're all trying to play a clean, fundamental game

It should be a clean hard-played game. It's more enjoyable than 50 turnovers.

The west could have gotten a better shot than that isolation BS for the last play. T-Mac AIIRRRRRBALLL FTL.

the game became enjoyable when it became competitive, imo. alley-oops and junk like that, we see every night in the NBA.

Another observation, Yao Ming does not belong in an All-Star game. How many passes hit him right in the face?

A billion people in China can't be wrong.

Why doesn't Yao belong? He's the best Center in the West, and arguably the best center in the game now. People like Stephen A. Smith saying he's gonna be another Shawn Bradley and Charles Barkley saying he's never even gonna score double digits in a game. Yao has become a 20/10 guy with 4 all-star games & people are complaining he's not dominant enough (the same who said he was gonna amount to nothing). Also Yao got the most votes in NBA arena's & not the internet.

Yao was useless the whole game.
Yao does not belong in the All-Star game.
Rockets were what .. 0-12 without McGrady?
The Houston Rockets are McGrady's team. Not Yao's.
He is just another Shawn Bradley. Stephen A. Smith is right.

Regardless, it's a fans game. He belongs because he got more votes than any other center in the west, therefore he belongs.

Yao deserved to be in the All-Star game. He's the best Center in the game. Basketball noobs can leave now.

awful logic.

Chris Bosh's team is atrocious with him. so Bosh doesn't deserve to be an allstar? so is Ray Allen's team. Yao's been hurt for a good part of the season, but he's 20/10 for the time he's played. that's good enough to be an all star. i agree, Tmac is more important to the team, but that doesn't mean Yao's not an allstar center.

calling yao another shawn bradley is stupid.

Carmelo Anthony deserved it more. Plus his team wins.

Yao scoring higher than Tim Duncan & Shaq this year (19.6 vs 19.5/19.4). Another Shawn Bradley? Yeah, the career 8.1 PPG yeah that's right, lmao. What are the rockets without Yao? I believe they only had 2-3 wins & Yao only played in 4 of the 12 games without Mcgrady as he was injured longer than Tmac. Useless the whole game? So Vince Carter (5 points), KG (2 points), Pau Gasol (0 points), Gilbert Arenas (1 point), and a whole slew of other players were useless & didn't belong as well? This haterade on Yao is amazing, especially for a 20/10 guy. I wonder why? I think race has some part to do with it.

Race? WTF are you smoking?

Did you watch the game? How many nice dishes was Yao thrown and they all bounced off his hands or pimpslapped him in the face?

Pau Gasol looked terrible too. They said it was because he was sick. Ben Wallace blocked his fade away layup twice in a row.

Not as long as Shaquille O'Neal is playing.

The only one I saw was when Kobe threw it under the basket at Yao's face, that's it. I saw Tim Duncan miss a wide open Yao by like 10 feet on a bounce pass. On the boxscore, Yao had 0 turnovers. And why the haterade on Yao? What about Ray Allen and all his brickshots? KG played horrible, had some turnovers, shot 1 for 9. People complain about how NBA players act, when Yao's the model citizen and people hate on him. Why is that?

I'm Asian. So no, race has nothing to do with it, at least in my case.
