What does it matter? My God. He isn't asking you to lick it. He is obviously worried and trusts you.

If a person feels uncomfortable with doing it, it's that simple.
 
Oh jeeez - just do it. It's nothing you haven't seen before, tell him what it is, and get it over with.
 
Ask him to use a mirror. Id he still says that he cannot see "things" clearly, then hand him a good digital camera.

He can take a photo and blow it up a 100 times bigger and see "things" clearly.

Also, for the love of god, please no pics. 😛
 
Maybe you guys should have a couple drinks together first to ease the tension. And just to make things even, he should look at yours after you look at his.

it's not a simple case of dropping the pants and getting a quick peek. you're going to have to get behind him while he's on all fours in order to get a proper look. That, or he'll stand up and you'll kneel below waist level while he holds his sack up. either way, it's going to be tremendously awkward.


Just tell him to take a picture of it or something.




Or maybe.... he feels like your friendship is getting a bit stale and he wants to take it to "the next level". reacharound ftw

I think it's funny as hell. The guy wants someone else's opinion. Not a mirror. A mirror tells him what he already knows. But a friend going, "WTF is that??!!", will certainly send him running to the doctor.
I guess I am past my "eewww that's gross" stage.

And if the OP looks at it and says "oh it's not that bad" and the friend winds up not getting it checked out, it may lead to serious complications down the road.

All the friend is doing is making the OP feel uncomfortable, and delaying treament of a potentially serious medical condition.

I guess me and my friends are just logical enough where if something needs to get done, we don't BS and get it done.

That's what I told him when I said he needed to go to a doctor. "How am I supposed to know what it is? I don't have bumps on my scrote."

The pictures idea might work. That way, I'm complying with his request without getting up close and personal. Then I could say, "Yep, you need to go to the doctor." Think about it, how would you go about looking at something like that? Bent over at the waist with legs apart? In a posture similar to a gynecological examination chair? No thanks, I'll pass.

If he goes for that, I could probably post the pics up if you want.

Do you honestly think his friend would ever ask him to look at his scrotum if he didn't believe something wrong. Something is obviously wrong.
If the OP is uncomfortable with the idea. The act would take seconds, and neither of them would ever have to speak about it again.

What would I do?
I would tell the guy if I look, he is going to a doctor, whether what I see deems that necessary or not. If he cannot promise me that, he can have someone else look.

I'll score it a 6. Lacks references to Hilfiger and Halo which would relate to our generation. However, it is well paragraphed and easy to read like the others.
