Dammmn, I just saw the news on TV earlier and the docs were thinking it might be something (can't remember what) that surgery could treat and be fine.

That's scary, apparently it wasn't a 'hard' fall either.

I don't think shes brain dead...the ny post is practically a tabloid

Wow, hopefully it's a tabloid exageration, but if true this is a tragic freak accident.

...that just shows how fragile we really are.🙁

Actress Natasha Richardson is brain dead - after falling in a ski accident in Canada - and is now on sad journey home to New York, friends told The Post today.

Is good grammar no longer fashionable these days? Seriously, this is the first damn paragraph and they mess up.

for Richardson.

How do you go from feeling fine after the fall to feeling a little bad and then brain dead?

Brain swelling? Fluid?

Read the comments below the article. They discuss some possibilities.

Nope, just an everyday epidural hemorrhage; bleeding between the skull and brain. Pressure on the brain builds over time, so she was fine at first, but deteriorated quickly and is now brain dead.

PSA, anyone over the age of 40 needs a cat scan if they bump their head.

That is an understatement. I talked to a good friend today who took a header last Thursday on the slopes. He did not go to a doctor and he still feels the effects of a concussion, he is near 60. Knucklehead🙁
