The problem is NASA gets excited for the slightest thing. They find a microbe that no one outside of NASA will give a damn about and party like it's 1999.

Curiosity says, “Don’t be a”

The person controlling it totally knew what they were doing when they chose that path. :p Humanity sent a RC car on another planet to draw a dick. What a time to be alive. :p

If they find a microbe on Mars everyone in science will party like it's 1999. That would be a giant honking deal.

That isn't really a problem, they are super-nerds. We want more super-nerds and when they legitimately find something super-nerd worthy we should give them their 5 seconds of fame. At least as much time as some dumbshit tweet that Trump sent out moments earlier. BTW, if they did actually find a microbe that would be "yuger" than all of Trumps tweets, ever. It would be so yuge that we would need Trump to come out and tell us exactly how yuge it was and how it was really his idea all along.

Yep good movie liked the ending. Red Planet came out about the same time as hollywood often does, its hollywood twin movie syndrome. I liked it as well and I was happy when Benjamin Bratt was thrown to the abyss on mars. :p

Yep, red planet i also have.
At the time i was having a buying spree for any space movie with decent special effects.
I did like the story a lot less. But it looked very nice.

Speaking of Mars, i have installed DOOM 2016 again to play it again.
