The problem is NASA gets excited for the slightest thing. They find a microbe that no one outside of NASA will give a damn about and party like it's 1999.

Until we go there I seriously doubt we'll ever get that eureka life! moment or maybe the next couple generation of rovers. Should of been there already imo.

Yep good movie liked the ending. Red Planet came out about the same time as hollywood often does, its hollywood twin movie syndrome. I liked it as well and I was happy when Benjamin Bratt was thrown to the abyss on mars.![]()
