Well here we go again last time it was all hyped up just to tell us something we pretty much already knew. This time it looks to be handled better and nothing has slipped out. So what will it be? It came after they got their drill working on Curiosity again and started drilling.

BTW Curiosity has been on mars for almost 6 years but its nuclear powered. Opportunity has been on Mars for 15 freakin years and its Solar powered with batteries, it was suppose to last 3 months. Those are some damn good batteries to take the temperatures and swings they get and last that long.

NASA's Mars rover Curiosity has apparently found something intriguing on Mars, and the space agency will unveil the discovery Thursday (June 7).

The space agency revealed few details about what will be announced Thursday, but the "live discussion" will feature "new science results from NASA's Mars Curiosity rover," according to a NASA announcement. Why all the secrecy? "The results are embargoed by the journal Science until then," NASA wrote in the statement.
That means NASA won't release any details until the press conference, which is scheduled for 2 p.m. EDT (1800 GMT) on Thursday. You can watch the Mars announcement live on Space.com, courtesy of NASA TV. The space agency did reveal the list of scientists who will be discussing the Mars

With NASA you just never know, this could be anything from nothing at all to pictures of actual aliens looking at the rovers.
 
Hopefully they have not found any remnants of Uranus.

I really really really hope that's it, that would be an incredible find. Probably too much to ask for though. Probably something more about water, maybe they found that Mars still has bodies of water under the surface.

Hopefully it will be something that will get the taxpayers to get behind a colonization effort.
Once a successful colony is established and paid for, it can be turned over to a corporation that can begin strip mining.

Humans have used up a lot of earths resources and we need MORE!
Think of the profit, no more EPA, no more blathering about endangered species, and no worries about the ozone...

Lot$ of $ to be made there.

I don’t believe that we’ve used up a lot of earth’s resources. We just have to be a bit more creative in what we use and how we use them. As I was driving from Palmdale California back to LAX yesterday I thought, what a bunch of unused potential. I’d start by strip mining all of those useless desert mountains. The ‘49ers found gold in those hills, and I’m pretty positive about finding other natural resources there as well. As a side benefit, there would be no more mountains blocking the moisture from the Pacific from reaching the desert. This would also make that desert useable for farming, etc. We’ll call it the Gargantuan Regional Eco Alternative Terraforming Strategy or GREATS for short.
