Oh my gosh, unpoliced crime that drives further violent crime and burglaries?!!?! In a country where you aren't allowed to defend yourself, and aren't allowed to have guns to do so with?!?! And where the hobo heroin addict that you hit with a baseball bat gets free health care from the government, while you get a free prison cell from the government??!?!?!

When can I move?

How does Canada's drug related crime rates compares to the US's? I am researching this now. I will post anything I find.

I found this..

Canada has a lower violent crime rate compared to the US. This is contrary to what one would expect if "unpoliced" drug use drove violent crime rates.

Population density is very related to violent crime.
Not in Canada:)

Look at the other Canadian cities in your list. Plus, Toronto's CMA is still less than 5 million. About the size of Atlanta. Typically higher property crime there compared to violent crime, but this has been hashed out in another thread now. I agree with you here, but the lower rate of violent crime has much to do with density and actual reporting of crime.

You have to register your guns in Canada, and I believe they banned all semiautomatic rifles, no? For certain, no one is allowed to have fully automatic weapons there, even with permits.

Anyways, you can bet that with the registration of Canada's guns complete, confiscation doesn't lie far away.

You have to register you guns in the US too, and a Class 3 license isn't cheap now is it?

Sorry, we don't register guns in my America. Maybe you do things different in Alabama, but here in Texas, there's no such thing as firearms registration. A database of gun owners can only be used against those gun owners, it can do no good.

The US is not solely made up of Texas my friend. Guns are registered in the US. Why play semantics over it? Most states require registration, and what states don't require a license to carry concealed or otherwise?
Not most, few. 35 states require no registration or licensing for all guns.

Sorry "handguns" then.

Pepsei first I was talking about dealers. Taiwan does execute drug dealers. Also if repeated users life imprisonment is not uncommon.

I only read the first few posts but your idea of Canada is completely wrong.

It'd be like us watching bowling for Columbine and thinking all US does is shoot ppl with their guns.

For one Ive been arrested for drug use so right there atleast one Canadian has been arrested for drug use.
