And on top of that, season 3 was already a bit of a dropoff without Escobar, who was so much of that show. I thought season 3 was great, but Escobar, and especially the dude that played him, were so damn good.

I agree and didn't think they would be able to keep the same tone and pace, but season 3 convinced me. It was badass.
