There are way to many to pick from. I will say Dave Chappelle has to take #1, followed by Pryor, Gaffigan and Carlin. Also I like Nick Swardson.

The mere fact that no one has mentioned Lenny Bruce yet shows most of you know nothing about comedy. :(

no real favorite, but..

You know, all Dave Chappelle has to do is open his mouth. Heck, I'll laugh for no reason when I just look at a picture of Dave Chappelle. Funniness just eminates from him. It's like his natural aura. He's on another level compared to other comedians in terms of funny'ing.

I can probably say the same for Chris Rock, lol. He can talk about the most boring subject in the world, and end it with "Shut..The..Fsck..Up" and I'll laugh. hahahaha.

Russel Peters is getting there. He's awesome with the crowd. He is among the comedians who can improv w/ the crowd really well, and he feeds off the crowd. His facial expressions are too funny.

by far the top 3. way ahead of anyone else, although Mitch Hedberg is a distant 4th. Russel Peters is at the bottom of the pile.

Either you're being sorely sarcastic, or you're just saying that because you want to feel special; not wanting to be a nonconformist eh..? Knowing that you did not get any reply to your own post, you quoted your own post, bumped the thread, and now hope that someone will reply saying your ridiculous. Then you'll start feeling special. ehh? Well, hell, I guess I fell for your plot. boo hoo.

Anyways, I find the people you listed not funny at all.

agreed. I don't know if Russel Peters would be at the bottom of the pile when there's that one Iranian comedian - he's pretty bad.
