Ron White is funny. I feel bad for him being lumped together with the rest of those guys.
 
In their prime: George Carlin, George Wallace, Eddie Murphy, Richard Pryor

Currently: Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, Eddie Izzard

In my opinion, Richard Pryor was the best stand-up comic in my lifetime (30-35 years). Such a natural. Was almost as though he never planned out a single routine and just walked out on stage being himself.
 
Dane Cook, Chris Rock, Mitch Hedberg, George Carlin (though I can't stand him for extended periods), Ron White, Russell Peters, and one more guy I forgot the name of 🙁

I just saw him on Broadway in the Wedding Singer. He was quite good!

Yeah, that Tater Salad thing just took off on a life of it's own. It's a great story, but even he said he doesn't want to hear it ever again 🙂

dane cook is popular is popular because of (1) myspace whoring and (2) his physique.

his material is pretty awful.
 
Bill Engval is awesome for a family style comedy. He tours with Jeff Foxworthy, Larry the Cable Guy, and Ron White. He's absolutely hilarious.
