I have a question about the 5 boroughs.. if someone lives in Manhattan, I can understand NY,NY... but what about Queens, NY ? Flushing, NY (which is in Queens). I've seen so many different versions... which is right ? When do you just use the city name and not the borough ?

ahh, exactly where I grew up. I think we just wrote it as Queens, NY. Honestly though, I think the post office uses zip codes and doesn't care about the city you write. I could probably say Long Island, NY and they won't give 2 sh!ts. ;)
