Right after my daughter gave birth she says to me " I thought you said formula and diapers were expensive? Its not bad at all"

6 months later I don't think I can talk to her for 30 minutes without her complaining about it.

Holy crap!

Breast milk is cheaper.

Jesus when did that happen?? When I went back in the 80's/90's it was so much cheaper. How is it these days? I haven't been back since I was 18, over a decade ago.

I tried it out once and the rice still looks and tastes the same.

Why in the hell would anyone even CONSIDER buying a $400 rice cooker?

That's what you get for shopping at HD. Their trim & other "specialty" woods are incredibly over-priced. When I did my kitchen ceiling, 14 foot 6" tongue and groove (v-groove) boards for the ceiling were $4.02 at the local small chain lumberyard. HD's price: $7.99 for an 8 foot board. That's $1 per foot, 350% more expensive than the local lumber place.

I think you should invest about $75 to get your face professionally cleansed. Someone apparently has to remove "sucker" from your forehead. :p

For me, the cost of milk-replacer for calves and baby goats. About $25 a week to feed 3 baby goats.

Wait... REALLY??? I have a hard time believing that stuff costs more than 25 dollars... That's not even worth trying to figure out what it's actually worth!

The lumber (if you want to call 1x2s lumber) I bought seemed quite reasonable. This corner bead was made of metal, so I didn't think to go to a lumber yard to check prices. They were going to charge me something like $5 each before I went and took that picture and showed it to the cashier to get the right price.

In a way, getting my new job. My direct deposit information got screwed up somehow and so haven't gotten paid yet after 2 weeks (supposed to be paid weekly).

Beyond that, it was getting the tensioner on my car replaced. Thought I was going in to get a $30 job done (replace the serpentine), cost me $225 I think since the belt was fine, but the tensioner had stopped... you know... tensing?

A textbook for my wife that was $140 on Amazon. I wasn't surprised though. They are all ridiculously expensive.

Our cow was a first time mom and didn't like the baby getting close to her to nurse so we had to get some goat colostrum and milk replacer for the calf. Once we got a hold of mom in a halter we were able to strip the wax and now she's being a good mom. Of course, we still bought a 50 pound bag of the milk replacer.
