$45 for Cedar Point tickets. WTF??? I still had a stub from 1987 that was $14.99. I guess you pay for 3x more fun after 20 years :)

you don't need the ultra expensive stuff. even the cheaper stuff have the stuff for eye/brain devolopment.

My daughter (now 7) had acid reflux when she was a baby. they had to put her on special formula that only came in pre-made cans at something like $20 a can. a can lasted a day.

I seen the same formula in a big powder can for $15.99.

whatever happened to babies getting the stuff they are SUPPOSED to get? You know, the fresh warm stuff straight from the mother's tit?

sadly there are some babies that can't have the mother's milk. Both of my children had acid reflux and had to have a special formula.

The mothers milk was not thick enough. it was so watery that it would go into her lungs and she would caugh it back up. so she was not gaining weight and in fact loseing it.

she was born at 6 lbs and droped to a little over 4 lbs. once we got her on formula she went back up.

IF she could have stayed on breast milk we would have done that for as long was we could. its better for the baby and cheaper!

Ugh, ripped a hole in a gray pair of dress pants and the new ones were $230 before tax. I don't remember them being that expensive, but I really like that one brand and style. Oh well.

A new keyboard.
Cover for my iPhone.

And a lunch at Burger King (in Taipei though, not in the States). Yes that was a shocker. NT$160 for a small bacon cheeseburger (not even Whopper Jr.), a "large" fry that's really medium in the States, and an apple pie. Works out to be US$5, which may not seem so much in the States but it's ridiculous in a country where the cost of living is maybe about 1/3 of the US and you can grab a decent amount of food for maybe 1/3 of that NT$160 :S

That's probably the last time I'll eat at Burger King overseas this year.

I remember the 90's so well. Back in Florida you could get a nice fresh college gal for about 150 an hour.

Nowadays in the DC area a girl that DOESNT look like a crack whore costs at least 350 an hour.
A high quality babe is closer to 400.

Fucking silly shit, man.

Anyway, I just bought a basic treadmill this morning and it was 850. Wasnt even that great. It had memory card slots for excercise programs and shit, but I dont care about all that. I just wanted something basic but good quality. The absolute lowest end model Sears had was a fancy NordicTrack. Has speakers for music and heart monitor and all that shit. And it wasnt even the highest end. There were plenty of fancier models on the floor.

Good news is I can keep my weight loss going during the winter.

I spent 100 bucks at costco on various food things. I keep forgetting how deceptively expensive things can get there when everything is about ten bucks...

Car shit is way overpriced.
When I had a Mazda hatchback I was always getting screwed for little things. The bottom of the sides of the body have these long gay plastic trim pieces that fall off easily. Those crappy pieces of plastic cost about 200 bucks each to replace.
Whats worse is the stupid little plastic bolt-clips used to hold them on. 5 dollars each and you need about 20 of them.

Not something I bought...but my car got towed for the first time recently and when all was said and done - $75 vehicle release fee to the local pigs + $350 tow fee to the tow people + $30 parking ticket from the meter bitches = $455. Talk about extortion - all I did was accidentally park in a commuter train parking lot on a Saturday night, take the train to the bars, and take a taxi home to pass out. The fucking assholes around here get you either way you go, they either tow you for nearly $500 or they nab you with a $1,600 DUI.

Generic Immodium AD. We usually get it at Wal-Mart, where it's about $14 for 200. My wife bought some at Walgreens and paid $17 for 100.

Wait... REALLY??? I have a hard time believing that stuff costs more than 25 dollars... That's not even worth trying to figure out what it's actually worth!

You spend only $100 at Costco you're golden. It could get a lot worse than that.

I bought a high tech $400 rice cooker with high pressure and induction heating to replace my $150 rice cooker.

I tried it out once and the rice still looks and tastes the same.
