Philip Seymour Hoffman (seems to be getting some respect now with his new movie)
Actresses also?
Samuel L. Jackson is actually OVERRATED in a way. Because he's absolutely perfect for most films (like Pulp Fiction), its assumed he'll be good at roles in films like Star Wars, which IMO turned out to be ridiculously untrue. I love Samuel L. Jackson, but he sucked bad as a Jedi master. The whole American tough-guy thing just doesn't work with that kind of dialogue. That's what British actors are for.
good call on tony shaloub.Originally posted by: The Godfather
Anthony Hopkins. I think that guy makes every movie perfect. I don't think he has yet won an oscar. Instead they gave it to Jodie Foster for Silence of the Lambs.
And maybe:
Tony Shaloub (Guy who played in Monk)

Definately Christian Bale. His performance in Batman Begins and The Machinist was awesome. Edward Norton is excellent as well.
So my List changes to:
Mos Def
Christian Bale
Edward Norton

I would also say Mark Hamill. He's done countless voices for animated shows. He gave the Joker the PERFECT voice. I can't even imagine the Joker sounding different now.
