Bruce Campbell. I can't exactly bring myself to consider him a "lesser" actor, but I just wish I would see him in more movies.

I think he likes it that way. He's got bit parts in a bunch of Coen Bros. and the later Sam Raimi stuff.

Really? He plays the exact same guy in every movie.

I don't remember seeing Bruce Campbell in a single Coen Bros flick...I've seen the all, though spotty memory of a few of them (Hudsucker, Intolerable Cruelty, etc)

He's currently in Burn Notice on the USA network. fairly good show.

yeah, I watched a few episodes...never could get into it. rubbed me the wrong way, but I liked his character.

Rill22: funny, I never noticed Bruce Campbell in those (except for the Spiderman flicks, of course). I've always liked him. I think he's comfortable with this niche personae that he's created. Hope he never lands a huge leading roll (at least one that isn't a self-mockery of some sort :D)

Johnny Lee Miller, famous for Zero Cool in Hackers, but has had a bunch of film and tv credits since, including the recently canceled show I liked a whole lot, Eli Stone.

His american accent is pretty flawless too. Then again, he got to bang Angelina before Billy Bob despoiled her so maybe he's used up all his good fortunes for this life.

I've always liked Adam Baldwin (Chuck, Firefly, X-Files on TV, Full Metal Jacket, Independence Day, Serenity on the big screen). His "Animal Mother" role in FMJ was memorable. I don't know how much range he has, but I've enjoyed his work.

John Lithgow :) I think he's a phenomenal actor and he doesn't get enough work these days.

Steve Buscemi in Con Air - he does a good job of playing dweebish serial killer.

Steve Buscemi in Armageddon - he plays a completely different character, a womanizing genius geologist.

Claire Forlani in "Meet Joe Black" (Google Image Search with SafeSearch 'Off' is NSFW)

Vin Diesel in "Pitch Black" - at the time he was a lesser actor, i still think that was his best role.

Steve Zahn. He's come a long way since You've Got Mail. He was excellent in Rescue Dawn.

My coworker and I were just talking about movies and I remembered this thread... it's becoming evident that I spend too much time on ATOT throughout the day. <sigh> Anyway, my actress for this list:

Me Me Lai There's just something about her that I like. If you like Italian directed Cannibal movies with lots of over the top gore, you'll like the movies she's in.

I'd post a pic of her in some of her B-Movies, but most show a boobie, not sure if the mods would allow that or not. But you can search her with Eaten Alive and Jungle Halocaust you can see the type of movies she's in and pics. She's very, very much a 'lesser' actor. :)

Also, Sarah Polley, Tim Roth (though I hear he may have a TV show now??). Ben Foster was very good in 3:10 to Yuma and was decently creepy in 30 Days of Night, so maybe him. Hmm, I can't think of many others right now.

Edit: yeah, Sam Rockwell was kickass in Moon.

I really like this guy:
Vincent Phillip D'Onofrio (born June 30, 1959) is an American actor and film producer.[1] He first gained attention for his role as "Private Leonard 'Gomer Pyle' Lawrence" in Full Metal Jacket, and more currently for his role as Detective Robert Goren in Law & Order: Criminal Intent.

Also, Martin Landau in Ed Wood, tremendous actor.
