Ehhh...he was good in Shooter and The Departed.. but he just maintains his pissed off face all the time. I'm always reminded of that Andy Samberg's SNL skit of him. "Hey say hello to your mother for me, alright?" ROFL.

That's Mark Wahlberg, the nut. Mark Walberg hosts a lot of game shows.

Michael Madsen - He's been in a whole lot of stinkers and a couple really good movies. Still ticks me off that he had prior commitments and wasn't available for Pulp Fiction so Travolta took his part.

Madsen does work his ass off though, just check out the movies coming out in 2009 & 2010.

Bruce Campbell. I can't exactly bring myself to consider him a "lesser" actor, but I just wish I would see him in more movies.

I think he likes it that way. He's got bit parts in a bunch of Coen Bros. and the later Sam Raimi stuff.

Really? He plays the exact same guy in every movie.

I don't remember seeing Bruce Campbell in a single Coen Bros flick...I've seen the all, though spotty memory of a few of them (Hudsucker, Intolerable Cruelty, etc)

He played Smitty from the Hudsucker Proxy, and then had a cameo in a soap opera on TV in Fargo and Intolerable Cruelty. He's had a million other short roles, like each of the Spiderman movies, Escape from LA, Congo, etc.

I'm sure you're right, and he'll never do much more than B movies, short cameos, and random Old Spice commercials, I just think he's awesome.

Micheal Pitt
Great in both "the dreamers and Funny Games"

Had some other side roles where he stuck out as well.

J.K. Simmons - (Juno's Dad, Jonah Jameson, Top CIA official in 'Burn After Reading')

OP's list is good, yes. I totally disagree with Michael Cera. I liked him in Superbad, then after Juno and Nick & Norah, I have no faith in his versatility. Not that I expect actors to have incredible range (just about every actor has a niche/genre that they're best at) but his characters appear to have NOTHING to separate them. Hell, Seth Rogen plays the same basic character in all his movies but at least he makes them stand apart.

yeah JK is awesome.. he was also in Oz and in the Law and Order series. Pretty much any regular or recurring actor/actress from Law and Order series are great because a lot of them have theater backgrounds.

He has a supporting role in the TNT series, The Closer.
And he is quite enjoyable, gets a lot of the comic relief bits.

Both cute, pretty, etc. And really talented. Fortunately, both pick their roles well. Even if they are in a film that doesn't appeal to me because of it's genre, I'll still see it.
Oh, and both can sing.

Michelle Monaghan - MI III, Eagle Eye. Yeah, movies weren't epic, but she has potential.

Ken Watanabe - He totally made The Last Samurai quite the film. And yes, he quite famous, but he needs more western cinema.

Patrick Warburton - I guess his sitcom with David Spade got canceled, so Hollywood, pick him up. He's funny.

Liev Schrieber - Made a better John Kelly/Clark than William Dafoe (nothing against Dafoe, but he wasn't what I pictured), and he was a in a few CSI episodes. Also in the Manchurian Candidate, but meh.

Laura Linney
Karen Sillas
Tom Noonan
Bruce Greenwood

Laura Linney & Bruce Greenwood might not be in the catagory "lesser actor" but i don't think either get the credit they deserve.

I love that guy!

I was wondering what his name was; too lazy to look it up.

Eric Bana
Anne Archer was my favorite MILF in the 90's
