Name some corporations that are worth more than some small countries

As you can see, some corporations would fall in the top 20 or so

ALOT of companies are worth more than small countires. Hell, the biggest companies have more revenue then even some very large countries. I was just looking a few up, Exxon Mobile is larger than MOST countries in this world including some of the European ones, like say Sweeden etc.. And several of the poorest countries wouldn't even make the Fortune 500.

EDIT: also interesting where everyone bitches and moans about the OPEC countries, but Exxon Mobile makes more money than all of Saudi Arabia.

It didn't use to be that way, did it? I thought that in the late 90's MS was worth more than anybody. Maybe I'm just thinking of Gates.

They use to be number one worth overall, they've dropped to 7th there. Funny, good number of Chinese countries in the top 25 for companies worth overall. (Petrochina was number 1 heh)
