Maybe some small African countries aren't really worth anything... but some corporations are just so big.

ALOT of companies are worth more than small countires. Hell, the biggest companies have more revenue then even some very large countries. I was just looking a few up, Exxon Mobile is larger than MOST countries in this world including some of the European ones, like say Sweeden etc.. And several of the poorest countries wouldn't even make the Fortune 500.
EDIT: also interesting where everyone bitches and moans about the OPEC countries, but Exxon Mobile makes more money than all of Saudi Arabia.

It didn't use to be that way, did it? I thought that in the late 90's MS was worth more than anybody. Maybe I'm just thinking of Gates.
