THE PIRATE MOVIE

Man, I LOVED:D this movie, but few have heard of it. It was an romanic/slapstick/comedy with some action. It was an adaptaion of the Pirates of Pinance with a slight Alice in Wonderland twist to it. I wish it was out on DVD. Sigh...

Yeah dude, that movie is great. I happened upon it on HBO one night - real good movie. I proceeded to watch it again a few nights later because I had missed the first 10 minutes of it. Here's a link to it at IMDB- 100 Girls.

Another one, State and Main - it's a David Mamet movie.

Enjoy.

Don't know if anyone has mentioned it yet, but Ginger Snaps was pretty cool. You can find it at Best Buy on DVD for $9.99. Definitely gotta buy it eventually.

A Boy and His Dog

Don Johnson's first movie. Really wierd, but very interesting.

I'll never forget the end: "She had particularly good taste..." LOL

Ronin.....I never hear anything about it, but it was a great movie, if only for the car chases (the plot was kind "eh")

WHAT WAS IN THE FVCKING BOX?!?!

marsellus wallace's soul

wait... wrong film

LOL, good call :). When i was scrolling through posts and i saw "WHAT WAS IN THE FVCKING BOX" I immediately tried to come up with something witty, then realized he was talking aboot Ronin.

Anyhow, some of you guys have a horrible sense of what "most people haven't seen"

Requiem? Common, it was a popular flick.

Anyhow, I'm gonna say...Definately Boondock Saints, great movie. Woot, boston.
um, Lock Stock and Snatch are must-sees, everyone in my circle of friends has seen em but your average joe wouldn't know wtf u were talking about.

Let's see here...Damn I need to see Pi. It would qualify as one of those flicks that not a ton of people have seen but everyone recommends and I still haven't seen yet :). OH SNAP, BONUS, JUST CHECKED MY KAZAA FOLDER AND IT's THERE! WISH I KNEW THIS BEFORE 3:17AM but whatcha gonna do? Anyhow, i was having similar thoughts probably a week ago about "how in the name of god have i not seen this movie yet", so i guess i took action and now it's downloaded, piracy rocks, not really.

OK, back to the list. Anyone who hasn't seen Pulp Fiction should be smacked with a rotten trout with metal scales, but a lot of people haven't seen it. Makes me angry. Man thoughts can slip from your head at 3am...had a few good ones. OOH OOH, even though it had the cloonster, From Dusk til dawn was great and i bet no one's seen it, cuz it was such crap. lols.

Cheaters, i've only seen it on HBO, had never heard of it before, but i've enjoyed it.

OOOH, got a few more i fergotted. Dark City one of my favs. for a while, i should probably rent that one, been a bunch of years.

Leon/Professional is a classic, what a great flick, cant believe it's not on kid's summer watching lists they give you on the last day of school :p

HEY DPARKER, LOL, i didn't know i was quoted in a sig, i gotta hang around here more often. I assume i said that, it does say -Sammyboy next to it, but what context was that in. LOL
good times

Baseketball (I was amazed to find out most of my friends have not seen this movie)
Red Dawn (no not the ATer, and 80's movie about WWIII happening)

"My name is Emmanul Montoya, you killed my father prepare to die".

It's Inigo Montoya, not Emmanul. Where'd you get that from, it doesn't even sound that close.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means, what you think it means.

LOL wtf? He's right, it's Inigo Montoya... where'd you get Emmanul Montoya from?

Inconcievable!

Heh - maybe that was the Spanish dub - I remember watching this in French in the 7th grade. That and Home Alone.

Oh yeah, and btw, HATE is a pretty good one. It's a German flick but it fits the bill of being good and being an obscure film that people haven't heard of.

Crest of the Stars.

For a slightly more detailed story, watch the TV series it's based on.
