It's Inigo Montoya, not Emmanul. Where'd you get that from, it doesn't even sound that close.

Oppsie poopsies, it's been awhile since I've seen the film.

Princess Bride was on the other night and you are 100% correct. Congratulations you win an all expense paid trip to the Bahamas.

Malcolm, the 80's australian movie - nothing to do with Malcolm X.

Waking Life, less expensive and time consuming than a 3rd year philosophy course, but more fun. The last movie to truly blow my mind.

Gates of Heaven, not to be confused with Heaven's Gate. Errol Morris' 1st documentary. Disturbing, and entertaining.

Heaven's Gate was for a long time the movie that lost the most money ever. I actually thought it was good, but many people have heard of it, so it doesn't count here.

I have to second My dinner with Andre. The occasional reaction shots of Wallace Shawn are hilarious. I saw it first in a double bill with Swimming to Cambodia. Four hours of talking heads. The anti-action evening, but it was somehow mesmerising anyhow.

So many others, so little short-term memory left.

The Castle

It's a low-budget Australian film. Very entertaining, and pretty high quality plot and acting.

It was much better than your average porno movie, true. But godawful by any other standard.

My picks:

The Rapture - Odd, highly original film about the End Times. The acting is uneven, but the movie has a very interesting and highly un-Hollywood perspective.

The Sweet Hereafter - A small town recovers from a catastrophic accident. Featuring brilliant acting by a teenage Sarah Polley.

Go - Fun film about the rave scene featuring brilliant acting by a somewhat older Sarah Polley.
