Day of Defeat: source. It is so easy to go back to because it is fun and addicting. And there is no need to devote a lot of time to the game. Get in play for 20-30 minutes and be done. I hardly ever go back to RPG games for the simple reason that they take u to much time. I will be one of the last ones to log out of the last running DoD servers.

I would tend to agree. While some of the graphics are sub-par by today's standards the game brings back so many great (but bloody) memories.

I forgot to list the original COD. Released in October, 2003 it is still possible to find many active servers (all free) to play ... 6 years later. the game was (is) so much fun you can even play it on a netbook with integrated graphics.

Jagged Alliances 2, currently playing 1.13 again, on expert level. Night op with a silencer and picking off your enemies with powerful sniper rifle are extremely satisfying.
