Jagged Alliance 2 v1.13 mod. Its the oldest PC game I have installed on my PCs. I play it at least once a week. I just love the simplicity of it and its fun game play.

Same.

I also go back to KOTOR 1/2, NWN2, Stalker:SoC (OL/Arsenal mod) and a couple of others.

I keep going back to Gothic 3 thinking "this is the time I'm going to finish this game".

It never turns out that way; my games always just sort of fizzle out. And yet I can't help myself; I just cleaned out my system and re-installed Windows 2 weeks ago and I'll probably re-install Gothic 3 and give it another try soon.

One of these days I'm going to have to do something I swore I wouldn't - follow a walkthrough just to get to the end of the main plot.

WoW 🙁 over a year /played now... I stop for a few months, play for a few months. finally able to play fairly casual now... for now at least.

Quakeworld.

Can't say I've tried quitting it though. Been playing it since QTest. Played it so much I can do an entire circuit of the maps with my eyes closed without getting stuck, falling off a ledge or into lava (dm1 to dm6).

Since my ping isn't for competitive play anymore I just play againt bots everyday.

Best deathmatch game there ever was, is and will ever be!!!! Long live QW!!! 🙂

edit: spelling

Oh, and recently, return to castle wolfenstein. Again, singleplayer on hard with no saves. I get frustrated and wipe it from my hard drive, only to re-install on the next re-boot.:wine:

Have you played the Urban Chaos total conversion? The new weapon set, maps and story are a lot of fun.

No, I havent. I hear its quite good though. Over at Bear's Pit they have some great mods but I just keep to the v1.13 vanilla mod they made and just like to play through using it.

Medieval II: Total War, It's fun to try and win as the different factions.
From my experimentation the Moors are the hardest to win with, Holy Roman Empire is the easiest.

Starcraft, DoD:S, CS:S

Homeworld is one of the most awesome games I have played but the multiplayer never seemed that great and is probably dead online.

Diablo 2 by far

I hadn't played for 5+ years and my brother picked it up all of a sudden this summer and that's all it took for me to go get the Battlechest and play. But that was only for a month or so.

A coworker told me he randomly got back into it this week too. So I guess I'm not alone with it. 🙂

CoD: WaW

Ever since I started toying with Military FPS back in 2005 I found myself addicted. Now I am addicted to the coop Zombie stuff. I just love taking the different WW2 guns to the zombies heads.

Windows Vista Mahjong - 100% dead serious. This is a great time waster, especially when you don't have enough time to do anything else but still have a little time to kill.

I think the games I've gone back to the most are Deus Ex, Max Payne 2 + it's many many mods and the Splinter Cell series. 🙂

cs, dod, guildwars, company of heroes

usually after getting so burnt out i hate the game for anywhere from ~3 to 6 mos, i go back
