I don't see why this wouldn't be accurate. The slugs have travelled some distance so have lost some of their velocity, they should be able to penetrate farther and with their larger caliber(mass), do more damage.

 
Think of the incredible applications this NEW research on bullets has for our army!

Who needs kevlar? Just give our soldiers water balloons that they can tie to themselves. If they ever get thirsty... they can just drink their armour.

I'm sure the sheer number of bullets meant that some caused injuries.

Maybe if you do a belly flop.

If you break the surface tension of the water with your arms or feet first, it shouldn't be so bad.

i believe people hit terminal velocity at 150 ft or less anyways, so we can technically survive any fall into the water...

not even close. terminal velocity is around 120mph~175fps
so it'd take about 3.5secs to reach terminal? maybe 300feet? i'm just estimating...
