Interesting thing on the x04d.com. I googled it, and there's a hit to AT as the third hit.

Not only that, if you google it, look at the first and second links. One is a devshed forum with a post by a "LoKe" and the second one with a preview of "If you've got questions too, you can post them in the forum, or you can e-mail them to me at LoKe@X04D.com and we'll see what kind of answers we can come up ..."

Maybe it's our LoKe?
 
Hhmm, the date the timer reaches zero is the anniversary of Einstein publishing On the Electrodynamics of Moving Bodies where he introduced special relativity and time travel became a real possibility...

Edit - also an "eon" is a passage of time. Interesting...

Ah wait, I know what it is. When the countdown reaches 0, every Gun Owner will have a UN Agent show up at the door and take their guns. They had to move it up from the 4th because the NRA publicized the original July 4th target date. Gun Owners, bury your guns. The rest can sleep in and not worry about it.

EON8 is said to be the apocalypse. When you get to EON8 from a unverified site on the security page, it says "Please Consult C22:S13 in your handbooks immediately." Handbook? Im guessing the bible. So if Eon8=Apocalpyse, what is the synonym for the Apocalypse in the Bible? The Book of Revelation. When you consult Chapter 22: Section 13, the passage reads as: "I am the Alpha amd the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end."

So it means the world is going to end, duh. This is probably just going to be some advertising for some movie like The Omen or the likes.
 
Dunno a few of you got excited about .mil addresses looking at the site. I just viewed it from a .mil in the education center. Zippy skippy.
