2 months ago she ran into a deer!

Wife: Looks like it's just a ding, you know. There's no reason to get the insurance companies involved.
Deer: Well, you know, I should just get your information though.
Wife: Really? Cause you could probably just buff that out.
Deer: Yeah... I would really feel better if I had your information.

Wife: I don't know why you are so persistent, I am willing to pay for any damages. Just take yourself in, get an estimate and contact me.

Must-Resist-Parody-"My wife just ran into the garage"-thread

I drive a mid-sized SUV and have NEVER hit the garage while parking.
Maybe you take up too much space 😀 I like the part where she stepped on the gas to free the car-LOL

Aftermath: Nice Family Guy reference 🙂

Ime, is your garage in an alley like mine? Any chance you could get a circular driveway out front?

Sounds like the daughter of someone I know: In 7 months she's gotten 2 speeding tickets and involved in 3 accidents. I can't believe they still let her drive. Also, why hasn't she talked her way out of those ticket? She's about to turn 18..........well, then again, how many tickets has she talked her way out of!

a lot of woman pass the road test because they are woman. woman should never get cars or anything that can cost a lot of destruction. have you seen any tankers who are female? i sure as hell havent. if your wife can cost so much carnage with a small car, think about what she can do with an m1a1 abrams.

"oh what does this button do?"
BOOM!!
your house is gone.

Put a large plexiglass mirror on the wall in front of her parking space. That way she could see herself pulling into the garage.

That's pretty bad. Of the women drivers I know all of them are capable of driving and parking. My wife is a bit on the cautious side but has never hit anything or even come close to doing so.

Maybe your wife doesn't want to believe she can drive properly? People can be like that sometimes and need the right encouragement to learn properly. *shrug*

she probably had her hands at the 10 and 2 position instead of using 1 hand at the proper 12 o'clock position...

coordinating the hand movements of both hands at the same time while steering is very tricky....

Lol 😛

And let's not forget this one

I had a friend in high school (to feed another stereotype, his family is Asian 😛) whose mother & sister had hit, between the two of them them, approximately five parked cars and a brick wall on the side of someone's driveway. My own stepsisters routinely got into accidents, not months but years after getting licensed and at a point where they should have been experienced enough to avoid them - especially the ones (yes, that's a plural) that happened in parking lots

Take her to an eye doctor, then to a driving school. She obviousily has serious problems in one (if not both) of those areas.

if you tell her she can only park in the driveway, would you have to worry about her hitting the garage door?

I blame it on the whole lack-of-spatial-orientation thing.

agreed. whats with bad women drivers? do they not practice enough? I've seen some phenomenal parking jobs by women but others. :😛ullscollar:: is it because it's ok for women not to be good drivers?

and i have seen them park sideways in the parking lot.

A friend of mine is one of the best drivers I know, and she's female AND asian! I think she got 2 errors on her driver's test.

My mother-in-law drove a rental car down a half dozen steps into the outside dining area of a restaurant when she went to Alaska. My son was with her and said he was ready to start walking home after denying any any relationship to her.

Sounds like you need a bigger garage and your wife needs a military surplus vehicle.
