I hope Slumdog millionaire sweeps. That button movie was so retarded and unoriginal. And Rourke is NOT an actor, he's just an asshole caught on film. 🙂

Just my opinion of course, but I expect Slumdog to own the Oscars. I think Winslet wins and I dunno about anything else.

The Wrestler is the only one of the big movies nominated this year I have not seen, but I will finally be seeing it tomorrow.

Sean Penn was excellent and I think he has a good shot of winning. Jenkins won't win, even though he was very, very good. Langella won't win either because he already has a Tony for that role, but again he was fantastic. Pitt is the weakest of the bunch in my opinion and I don't think there is a chance he takes it.

I know there are a lot of Oscar haters here, but I always enjoy watching it since I have usually seen all the movies.

I don't think ledger was good enough to win. but considering he died and everyone is trying to show how much they care for him he is going to win.


but i want to see the wrestler. a friend got to see and said it was great.
 
Rourke isn't that good. when i finish watching all i can think of is marisa tomei's titties, if he's that good he could've at least bring some attention.
 
I wasn't really a fan of the Wrestler. But his competition isn't too stiff. It's him or Penn. Hollywood seems to give you bonus points if you are gay or dead.

He is a 20-1 favorite, I think he will come through with it, but if he didn't I wouldn't care. Oscar's are all about money.
