Don't think the FCC should be all over this, but I do agree one one thing.

North Indian Hindi is for all intents and purposes Urdu. The Mughal courts, from which Urdu originally came for, were in fact all located in present day India. Ands it not like saying Cali and Fla make Spanish the most spoken language. Lets not forget that Spanish isn't even the most spoken language in those two states - yet.

I personally did not find the radio bit funny because in the past when something like that happened to me, it made me feel bad (I'm Chinese) and ruined my whole day.

However, I just wanted to point out something. For a guy that is pointing out other people as racist, you have used terms that can be considered very insulting to people.

FWIW, I love the Stern show and thought this call was hilarious. I am no racist - actually the most gorgeous girl I've ever dated was Indian, and my current GF is Chinese - but IMO our country is truly a sad place if a meaningful number of Americans are so humorless that they find this call offensive and think it should be censored.

btw, i'm indian, and when i heard this i was in tears laughing because it was one of my peoples. i played this for my cousin who has been living in this country for the past 6 years, and he was cracking up

my other cousin who was born in india but raised here was cracking up. 2 indian girls that i know at school were cracking up when i played this for them (i ripped my own copy from the show since i didn't think it would be this big of a hit)
