I just had my 2nd floor entirely renovated with a brand new master bathroom put in and 2 months later my Kohler toilet gets clogged after a few 'dumps' in the bowl.....I plung it and it clears up immediately but then several days later again it ...CLOGS!!......wtf!?
I tried snaking it and even tried special drain liquid for toilets and all seemed to work just fine to give smooth flowing flushes but then every few days after a couple of 'dumps' in the bowl.....its clogged again!
My old toilet on the first floor never has this problem and we must have torn that thing apart with devestating dumps in the past 15 years......why is this happening to my new toilet and WHAT CAN I DO???
thanks!

you flush between dump and wipe. clogs are almost always too much stuff going through at once.

Uh, buy a different toilet?
Stop eating?
Stop breathing?
With a name like that it's not too suprising that you are clogging the bowl.DarkFudge2000
There needs to be a rating system for total flushing power. If it were my system it would be based on the animal it could suck down. That toilets the squirrel model, popular for low income families. Here we have the raccoon, when only the best will do...We installed the Toto Drake about a month ago, and to this day I am still amazed at how powerful that sucker is.

Its quite embarrassing to have company over to admire my beautiful new bathroom only to be in complete embarrassment once they discover that the 'poop' they left behind simply wont flush.

Does anyone have any HELPFUL reviews or info on the KOHLER line of toilets so I can basically do some research and get to the "bottom of this" very frustrating problem??

Your old toilet is more than likely not a water conserving kind so it will flush better.
I am going to make a road trip to canada to get me a REAL toliet and get rid of these low flow sh!tters.
BTW I heard a story on a report by the EPA that showed that people with low flow toliets usually flush TWO OR THREE time when using a low flow toliet when they relievethem selves of solid waste. this totally negates any benifit of the low flow as it uses more water.
