My son is better looking than me (he takes after his mother) and a lot smarter too, not that that's saying much.

The school bass player graudated last year so he'll take over full time bass duties this year. He should improve a lot.

You can't go triple platinum, only triple myrhh as a christian recording artist.

The true measure of the band's ability is to record something in a studio and see how it sounds. If it's still horrible even in a sound studio, then you know it's bad. Example:

I read some place that Christian music represents about 7% of music sales in the US, so it's a niche.

Jars of Clay is a good Christian band that has had some crossover success.

I wish my son were more passionate about music, bit not so passionate that he wants to try to try to make a career of it.

i used to play a bit in the church band as well, it was always fun and not nearly as stressful as playing gigs.

this is borderline torture for kids. If you sing fun songs or something with out sounding gay might help people want to go to church.
