He would get more chicks if the band sang about cool stuff, like sex and drugs and vikings and satan.

Is he the nerdy looking one? He certainly looks like an ATOTer's son.

The band sounds great, I run the soundboard for a local worship band around here since I can't sing or play guitar that well. Tell him to keep up the good work!

They're not bad, I wish I had picked up a guitar at that age.

He started at 8 and is 13 now. He'll be a sophomore this year. The bass player at school graduated so he'll have 3 yrs in the school band. Between the pep band and the jazz band, his video gaming will suffer.

Just wait till Rock Band 3 with Pro Style Guitar comes out!

Ditch the music stands and tell them to act like they are actually enjoying the performance lol. They were too stiff and emotionless.

While I would agree for a normal gig, I'm not sure a massive stage presence is what they desire for the act in church.

I saw some other video game that uses a real guitar but it's been in development for years.

That's what they're doing with Rock Band 3's "Pro" Guitar.

Apparently you'll be able to just plug it into an amp and actually use it as well. Should be interesting to see how it turns out. Now if only I could somehow plug my Strat into my PS3, I wouldn't need to buy a Pro controller. :)

This was the culmination of a week of band camp and the first time the guitarist, bassist and back up singer perfomed at church. I'm sure that they would get better with more experience.

There a shortage of bass players at church and they asked my son if he was interested in playing with the regular band once a month or so.

My son had fun even if it doesn't look like it.

I read some place that Christian music represents about 7% of music sales in the US, so it's a niche.

Jars of Clay is a good Christian band that has had some crossover success.

I wish my son were more passionate about music, bit not so passionate that he wants to try to try to make a career of it.
