This is one of the few subjects I look at emotionally instead of rationally. I've seen friends DIE because of drugs. Good people, who had everything in the world going for them, dragged down by drugs.

Yeah, me and about 6-8 of my friends started playing around with speed about a year out of high school. Needless to say, we were hopelessly addicted 6 months later. About half of us kicked it eventually and the other half are still users today (4 years later). These were middle class kids from the suburbs that could have gone to college and been just like you and me, and now they're fvcking bums doing whatever they can to get their fix.
It's amazing how quick the addiction sneaks up on you. Once a month becomes once a week becomes once a day. Anyone that wants to leagalize hard drugs needs to get acquainted with some people who have had their lives destroyed by them.
