Congrats, you took a $100 rim fire rifle, threw a bunch of money at it and turned it into a $100 rim fire rifle. You could have accomplished the same thing and spent a bit less money if you just left the original stock on there, bought a cheap scope and a few 50rnd magazines.

you don't spend money on your hobby?

oh, it was cheaper than spending $7-800 on the AR-15 i was initially considering, not to mention way cheaper on ammo also.

also, this is the 2nd time you've come into this thread to bash my gun. everyone els posting likes it. don't you have something better to do?

Not really, no. :p

Come on, you'll have to admit that it does look a bit ghetto. ;)

I own that gun and quite frankly it's a good plinker, accurate and reliable and it shoots cheap ammo but in the end it's still a .22 rimfire cartridge. You've basically taken the civic of guns and stuck a bunch of stickers and wings on it. :p

I hope you have fun with it.

Jules Maximus has a point. Anything with tapco is gonna be ghetto.

Not that bad on a 10/22 though. Putting anything tapco on an AR-15 is a sin and should be punishable. :p

i don't understand how it's "ghetto"?

Tapco makes cheap, shoddy, and ugly products (for the most part). You could have done much better ;).

As KK said, if you like it then that is all that counts. I personally wouldn't own a firearm with tapco products attached to it, but that's just me.

Mine is bone stock besides the red dot I stuck on it last year. It's my dad's gun but it pretty much is mine now (I think it may be as old as I am!), not going to mod it since I want to pass it down to my kids when they get old enough.

Not to say I don't want to mod the hell out of it. :D

of course i could have done much better, but all the better stuff is expensive out the ass. i'm not paying $200-300 for a stock.

You could have gotten a nice boyd's for $150, thats what I paid for that stock in my pic I posted above. Something to think about if you ever get tired of that one.

I was able to sell the factory stock on ebay for about 90 bucks, so I was out 60 dollars total for the nicer stock.

Boyd's doesn't have the look I was going for though.
