Yeah, I didn't see them, but she told me she does. I don't know if they took pics or not, but it's all in the DA's and the medical report I think.

By the time they arrested him and booked him, my roommate told me he was sobbing like a stupid bitch telling the police he was a student (foreign I think).

What a turd. Too bad the civilian world doesn't take a clue from the military world in matters like this. We had a couple of guys while i was in that i'll always remember, one who was beating his wife, another who attempted to rape a child on an overseas deployment.

Once word got out, the individuals in question had a string of nasty accidents happen to them in a short timespan (like 20 minutes) before they wound up being general court martialed and sent to Leavenworth. Fortunately for the guy who wound up falling down several flights of stairs a few dozen times in a row, I guess whoever was on CQ that night just had a hunch so both an ambulance and the MPs were there almost as soon as it happened. Of course, the commander had to do a slight correction on the incident logs as the accident was reported before it actually occurred (fancy that).

Ok, I want to state very clearly right now that I absolutely do not condone rape of any kind.

Given that, I am highly disturbed at the number of responses I have read reading something like: "I hope he looks forwards to receivng the same thing in prison." This is a sick attitude, you people should be ashamed of yourselves. You condemn the rape of McPhreak's roommate, yet encourage the same to the assailant. Dont even try to say something like "An eye for an eye," the purpose of law is to provide punishment for wrong doing, yes, but at the same time to provide a moral one. Now I'm not saying he shouldn't go to prison, I would expect him to be there for many long years, at the same time, I would hope that we would have the decency to not subject him to the same horrors we are revolted by.

well, yes. i condemn the imprisonment of innocent people as well... but, surprisingly, i have no problem with imprisonment of guilty people.

Honestly, it's probably only the police attack that will stick anyway :| So it's lucky he assaulted the offiicer. In so many cases (not all thankfully) the "alleged" rapist has a legal advantage.

We don't have to go back in time :Q

In many places, it's still quite acceptable, and even today in "civilized" areas it is not always provable or punishable. :

Very true.

Besides, what better way to "rehabilitate" a rapist than by showing him by example what it's like to be the victim for once?

You people are counting your chickens too soon. Who said he's going to prison? Criminals like this get off all the time. Let's see.....dark night, didn't get a good look. Suspect beaten by police, anything he said is suspect, he was frightened into whatever he said. Officer, the woman was a prostitute, we got into an argument over money, she fell down after she tried to hit me...etc.

When my GF was raped I heard all this in court. The POS defense lawyer we'll all pay for, will say anything to get the guy off. If it's the guy's first offence, they'll probably plea-bargin it into simple assult. The guy will be out in a few months.

You can thank the liberals among us for the new attitude towards crime.....

Not really. Prisons a funny thing. They don't consider raping another guy as a gay thing. They're just horny as hell and are willing to overlook certain principles for the sake of getting off.

She was walking in the subway alone late last night in Brooklyn and someone ran up behind her and gave her a swift kick in the back and then began punching her in the back and attempted to rape her.
Probably just a 'misguided but good natured youth' out having a little innocent fun, like those 'misguided but good natured youths' old Bernie Goetz plugged on the subway when they tried to rob...err...I mean when they were just out having a little fun on the subway.

Stupid New Yorkers deserve to live in constant fear as long as they tolerate laws which strip citizens of their ability to defend themselves.

I don't know. I would rather whack off than do some dude.
Anyways, what's good for an altarboy is good for a rapist.

Ummm, New Yorkers do not live in fear, lol. A few years back, I rode the subway train from the South Bronx to Brooklyn 3 nights a week at about 2:30 am. NY'ers don't live in fear. :)

If prison was supposed to be all happy and nice then why don't we just put criminals on house-arrest in a nice room at the Hilton?
