Haha if you've ever been to India you would see how dumb your statement is. Its the country farthest from a hive mind outside of Europe and the United States.

I like to think of India as 'organized chaos'. It doesn't make sense to people who have only seen it movies but if you ever go there you will see exactly what I mean.

Indian people are getting mad because they get ragged on a lot. Like I said before I guess its the whole inherent human trait of attacking people who are generally rich and successful.

STFU already, this thread was about his roommate dumping water on the floor. Not your stupid ass views. Now go STFU.

Culture has nothing to do with dumping an entire bucket of water onto the ground without seeing if there's an actual drain anywhere. It has more to do with stupidity.

You just want to exempt any criticism of idiocy and use 'culture' as a method to avoid such criticism.

i'm not going to explain it to you sh1thead, so go and read the entire thread before making a statement.

You don't need to explain it. I've already got it down. You have a hive mind and are extremely nationalistic when it comes to other people from your own country/descent. You are incapable of laughing at stupidity in any form if it involves your country or countrymen or people of your country's descent. In effect, you are an extreme nationalistic patriot.

its not about laughing at stupidity...but when you repeatedly humiliate someone that you know doesnt fully understand the new culture he's in, thats what is irritating me.

If this person repeatedly does idiotic things that even a child would understand not to do, then he deserves it. Culture doesn't make someone a moron. This character must be genuinely stupid. How come most other Indians don't do these types of actions?

That is a very dense way of looking at it, if you were new in a country with a completely different culture, initially I am sure you would also do somethings that could be considered stupid, wouldnt make you 'genuinely' stupid. Making fun of someone just because he is from a diff culture and is going through the pains of adapting to a new place is rather dumb, and yes I am Indian

When I went to India, I opened my car door like 5 inches (actually probably less) and it slammed into a bicycle rickshaw that was speeding by, causing it to collapse. That was stupid, just like this guy's act. We can find humor in these things without crying. Do you think I started telling people that I'm American so don't make fun of me because I'm not used to a culture of people flying by you a few inches away in a parking lot? No.

If I do something stupid, then people would be warranted to ridicule me in such a situation.

You want to give a person a free excuse just because you relate well to his ethnicity. I don't. I have no problem mocking the obese American wearing shorts and an ugly Hawaiian t-shirt wondering why he's dressed so differently than everyone else in the middle of Europe. You probably wouldn't either if he wasn't the same ethnicity as you.

No, I'm not, I'm being realistic. You are caught up in idealism. Again, you are too dense or rather unwilling to see this.

First of all, I didn't stay in a hotel. In the US, I'm not used to bicycle rickshaws flying mere inches from your parked car in a parking lot. I can usually open the door just to make it ajar and then look and proceed to open the door fully because I would never expect anything to be that close. It was stupid and I think that you can find humor in that.

Hot damn thar son thats the southern way!

Actually, he should remove any reference to Alabama in his profile if he does not want to be pigeonholed as some sort of uneducated redneck. Otherwise, we are free to reduce ourselves to another's idiocy level and freely assume that Mill is an uneducated redneck.

Well, since you've stated before that you are Indian, I pigeon-hole you back, and I ask if you bathe? Doubtful, right?

There's pigeonholing based on rational thoughts, and then there is pigeonholing just to be inflammatory. Someone seeing an Indian making light of the "idea" of Jihad -- might simply not know that person is Indian and not Arabic. They don't do it to be inflammatory, it is ignorance. So, if you want to be "ignorant" since I'm sure you will doubt you intent was to inflame, then go ahead. I was pigeoholing to inflame (when I asked if you bathe) just like you decided to "freely assume" that I'm a redneck. But hey, most if not all educated people know that Birmingham is a typical Urban American city, so the idea that rednecks would even be here is pretty funny. Equating a large urban area with rural less populated areas is the penultimate act of ignorance.

Glad to see you are up to your old tricks, but please take a bath -- for the good of us all.

Stereotyping is fun, isn't it? One day when you get a clue, you will realize that there is stereotyping because someone is ignorant, and then stereotyping to be a jerk. If Inspector Jihad doesn't want to fall prey to ignorance, then it would be a good idea to not pigeon-hole himself. I didn't pigeon-hole myself, but since your logic is always milquetoast at best, I'm not shocked that you missed the entire point of what I said, and then what sully summed up.

Bravo for continuing to be a dense fool. (albeit smelly).

so according to you, to be safe from ignorant people, i must do everything in my power to keep me from being pigeonholed. perharps i shouldn't write in hindi or converse with indian friends...or hell, why dont i just supress my freedom of speech and never participate in open debate when it concerns the US, caues that might get me pigeonholed as an extremist.

Well let ignorant people keep their wonderful stereotypes, while the rest of us watch our each and every step

Actually, I'm not Indian. I'm American. You've now further 'pigeon-holed' yourself as a redneck.

You are born and raised in (?) Alabama. Can I also assume that you do not bathe (no running water) and you are inbred?

There's pigeonholing based on rational thoughts, and then there is pigeonholing just to be inflammatory.

There's also pigeonholing due to complete and utter stupidity. Indians largely have nothing to do with 'Jihad' and the like. They have about as much to do with that as Europeans. Your argument may make some sense if the person in question was actually Arab. However, you wish to have everyone reduce themselves down to your own level of stupidity.

This person should have no worry about having his culture or people 'pigeonholed' as some sort of Jihadist, just like any European should not.

Someone seeing an Indian making light of the "idea" of Jihad -- might simply not know that person is Indian and not Arabic.

Then he would not be pigeonholing Indians whatsoever.

They don't do it to be inflammatory, it is ignorance. So, if you want to be "ignorant" since I'm sure you will doubt you intent was to inflame, then go ahead. Rednecks can freely exist in a 'large' urban city.

Glad to see you are up to your old tricks, but please take a bath -- for the good of us all.

Please, the local 'watering hole' is not adequate bathing. And for the love of all, please don't have sexual relations with your sister.

Stereotyping is fun, isn't it? One day when you get a clue, you will realize that there is stereotyping because someone is ignorant, and then stereotyping to be a jerk. I really don't expect you to understand this due to the great genetic defects in your inbred self. However, Inspector Jihad may be pigeonholing HIMSELF (just as anyone with that sort of name, regardless of background, would be doing), but not really the Indian people or culture...just as you are pigeonholing yourself as some sort of redneck hick with any reference to AL in your profile.

Please ask your sister/mother (you see, it's the same thing in AL) for some guidance if you don't understand.
