but good god, she absolutely sucks at finding the right house for me. She has been looking for me for 5 months. Would it be ok for me to find another agent?

ive talked to an agent on off-record terms and they said they really just need one sale a month. if they get 2 or 3 they admittedly stop trying until next month.

i dont think theyre in the business anymore though 😀

If she hasn't found a house for you in 5 months in this market... either she is shining you on or you want NYC at an Alabama trailer park price... 🙄

It's actually a lot harder to find a house right now that you think. If you're looking for a starter home, or something cheapish with 3 bedrooms good luck.

If you're looking for a 5 bedroom 3500 sq. ft. house with 4 bathrooms in an area where you pay insane property taxes and have HOA dues then they can find you something in a jiffy.

Depends on where the OP is... Here in north Dallas, you can find all that and then some, at any range of price. It's definitely a buyers market here...

But I do know what you are saying about the 3500+ SQ/FT houses... there are a lot of those in foreclosure around here, but not as bad as some other areas of the country. 😵
